The standard lengths for wedges, except as otherwise specified, are:-

If you need several wedges please note that it is not necessary to select them from the same model line. For example, suppose you want a strong lofted PW but a high lofted SW. You simply pick the ones that meet your needs from any model lines and they will be matched when you finally determine the shaft flex from the Club Fitting swing speed table.
Another example would be the slower swinging player ( man or woman ) who has trouble hitting the ball high enough on short, delicate shots or out of the sand. Here a logical set configurarion might be a 52 deg. PW with a 60 deg. lob wedge that has high bounce for sand play; and a 64 deg. lob wedge for the bloop shot needed to easily go over an obstacle.

- Made of 304 stainless, Soft wedges have become popular for players who need more "feel" from their finesse clubs. They find they can control their distances better and generate high shots that land softly on the green. They are easy to use out of high rough, sand traps, and over obstacles. Because of the increased feel, they quickly learn how to manufacture other shots as well, such as bump and run pitches or deliberate toe hits on a downhill pitch to the green. These models have generous bounces on the soles to fit modern conditions. They are made in the classic muscle back shape that is tried and true.

- These heads are slightly oversized and have a classical shape that is well proven over time. The harder 431 stainless steel promotes a more penetrating ball flight that can add a few yards to a well struck shot. To impart a more normal launch angle, the backs of the soles are built up and weighted. While these can be used by players of any skill level, low handicappers will be able to create most any launch angle desired, since they can easily rotate the heads open without creating too much bounce. The higher handicapper may feel greater confidence with these larger heads.
